Thank you so much for visiting my website.

My name is Kora and I’m a lifestyle and product photographer working in Greater Vancouver, British Columbia. 

When I was a kid growing up in Poland, my older brother received a Zenit camera for his birthday one year. I stared at him and his new toy with envy, convinced that it was me that deserved to have it, in spite of the fact that I had no clue how to use it. One might think it was greed and bad sister-ness that caused this jealousy, but I think it was fate. Eventually I managed to get my paws on his camera and years later I would teach myself how to use it, with all its buttons and dials, and it would lay a foundation for a lifelong love of this art form. 

Each image that I choose to share is a captured moment that has affected me in some way. It is an expression of myself and how I see the people and things around me. 

10 things about me:

1. I love drinking coffee all day long. So much.

2. I can make a loud popping sound with my mouth. It was taught to me and my brother by my dad as a way to locate us should he ever lose us in a crowd. It's happened. 

3. I have two dogs, one of which we found on the road while vacationing in Mexico and brought home that same trip. His name is Taco.

4. I suffer from a serious case of FOMO - if there is fun to be had, I am not ok to miss it.

5. I have recently taken up a hobby of collecting rocks and I now have piles of them strewn about my home.

6. I have known my best friend for over 25 years.

7. My guilty pleasure is watching reality tv.

8. When I was growing up I wanted to be a flight attendant.

9. I love listening to true crime podcasts whenever I’m driving.

10. I don’t really read into astrology too much but I definitely believe that I am a Leo through and through.
